We are a small business with a purpose! We give a percentage of profits to non-profit organizations. We enjoy lighting up the darkness and bringing authentic, cozy scents that flicker fond memories for years to come with our clean natural products.
We have a passion for making scented natural candles, wax melts and products for men and ladies that are clean burning, all natural and have a modern rustic style that provides clean, cozy, comfort. Our candles are made of a proprietary blend of all natural soy wax and pure beeswax. All of our products are paraffin, paraben, phthalate, petroleum, carcinogen and cruelty free. Our story:
We have a passion for all natural, pure ingredients. When some of our children were diagnosed with skin and respiratory issues, I really started paying close attention to the products we used in our home. I discovered my favorite candles were made with paraffin wax (petroleum), chemically synthesized colorants and phthalate loaded fragrance oils. When reading the ingredient list of our soaps and lotions, I quickly realized they weren't much better and contained numerous chemicals known to be carcinogenic. I wanted to find a way to help my family's skin conditions gently and naturally, and ensure the air my children breathe was not filled with unnecessary pollutants.
Our business dream began in 2018, as home date nights together after the kids were tucked in bed. After the house was quiet, we would pull out our candle making tools and supplies from their boxes and spread them out in our cozy little kitchen. We quickly fell in love with candle making. We loved making candles and wax melts so much, that we soon had more than we could burn ourselves. We began giving them away to loved ones. Our love for making high quality, clean and natural products for our loved ones wasn't just limited to candles, but expanded into bath and body products. In September 2020, we purchased our LLC from the State of Michigan and Cozy Candle Company was born. We chose our name for our dream that began in our cozy little kitchen.
